The Gothic Fountain

This is a fountain in the gothic style of civil architecture that has been considered as a unique example of the Catalan heritage and a symbol of the city. Octogonal shaped, the fountain was built in the 15th century by the Viscountess of Cabrera and the Spinner’s Guild. It has six gargoyles with human figures and its centrepiece is adorned with the family arms of the Cabrera.
