A few days before summer arrives, one of the most anticipated seasons of the year, and with the good weather starting to be noticed everywhere, it’s the perfect time to talk about one of the most characteristic elements of our village, our beaches.
The rock of Sa Palomera, which separates the beaches of Blanes and S’Abanell is the point that marks the beginning of the Costa Brava. That is why, our town is known as the getaway of the Costa Brava.
With the arrival of spring and good weather, it’s also time to enjoy all the fascinating nooks and crannies that Blanes hides. That is why today we want to tell you about one of the most representative symbols of our town, the iconic “Sa Palomera”.
As you well know, since the last 7 of January, the only way to practice sport is outdoor, sports centres and gyms have had to close as a preventive measure to avoid the rise of the infection of the COVID-19.
Blanes and its landscape have been a source of inspiration for artists, poets and writers whom the city has welcomed and from whom we have been able to capture its artistic legacy.
